Home Service Estimator ("HSE," "we," "us") is operated by BlueSystm LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you request an estimate, why, who we give it to, and your choices.

1. What we collect

When you use our estimate tool, we collect the answers you provide about your project and property (such as square footage, age, materials, and condition), your ZIP code, and your mobile phone number. When you consent, we record the date, time, IP address, browser, and the exact consent text shown to you. We also collect standard website data such as pages viewed, device type, and referring source. See our Cookie Policy for cookies.

2. Why we use it

We use your information to prepare your estimate, to send it to you by text message, to connect you with a matched local contractor who will provide the service you requested, and to schedule an appointment with that contractor on your behalf. We also use it to operate and improve our service and to meet legal obligations.

3. Who receives it

Your name, contact details, and project information are provided to your matched local contractor so they can prepare for and perform the service you requested. We also use service providers for text messaging, calling, scheduling, hosting, and analytics, who process information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Text messages and calls

When you submit a request, you consent to receive text messages from Home Service Estimator and calls from our team or from an automated (AI) voice assistant acting for your matched contractor, about your project. Text messages come from Home Service Estimator. Automated calls state the contractor's business name, disclose that the assistant is automated, and, where the law requires, announce that the call is recorded. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. To stop calls, say so during the call or contact us. We will stop within one business day and notify your matched contractor.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your request and consent records for up to five years, as required to document consent. Your matched contractor keeps the information they received according to their own practices.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, or to opt out of communications. To make a request, contact us at privacy@homeserviceestimator.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity. If your request concerns information already provided to your matched contractor, we will forward it to them.

7. Children

HSE is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted with a new effective date.
